May 6, 2009- Our grounds contractor is beginning their services for the year. There has already been an application of weed treatment, a mowing of the grounds and flower bed maintenance. As part of their services, the grounds contractor also removes trash which accumulates in the Sydenstricker and Huntsman medians. If you see any trash in the medians, please help by picking it up.
OHECA has thinned and pruned the Bradford Pear Trees on Sydenstricker Road and Huntsman Boulevard. Despite these efforts, the weather will take its toll on the trees. We are replacing any fallen trees with a new type of flowering pear tree which is hardier than the old Bradford pears.
There will be some upcoming projects for grounds including a clean up and an Earth Day 2010 project. They will be posted here once they are finalized.
If you see a problem with the grounds, you use the Contact Us link..
